The Bluff Park Art Association is a 501(c)3 organization made up of a dedicated volunteer board.

Presented annually by the BPAA, the Bluff Park Art Show began as a way to raise money to expand the Bluff Park Elementary library and has grown into a nationally recognized and acclaimed art show.

Today, the event draws 8,000 to 10,000 visitors each year and artists from across the country.

With an eclectic mix of media, the Bluff Park Art Show provides visitors with a fresh experience each year – all in the picturesque setting of Bluff Park, a historic community in Hoover, Alabama.

In addition to presenting the Bluff Park Art Show each year, the Bluff Park Art Association also:

•    Rotates a collection of 100 pieces among local schools, libraries, and universities
•    Funds public sculpture
•    Donates to the Birmingham Museum of Art
•    Supports local groups
•    Gifts local schools and libraries
•    Awards college scholarships

The association also sponsors a number of art-based education initiatives throughout the year as well as numerous awards with the hope of encouraging artists to continue striving for excellence in the arts.
