In 2003, Bluff Park Art Association partnered with the City of Hoover for a $25,000 matching funds sculpture. The sculpture chosen from the competing Alabama artists was "Along for the Ride" by Frank Fleming. This is a very large bronze sculpture which is a natural complement to the surrounding nature of the gardens.
