New Board Member Spotlight: Ashley Lemley

We have some exciting announcements coming up in the next few days. Starting off, we would like to introduce you to one of our new board members.

Ashley Lemley has a BS in Art Education from The University of Alabama. She taught art for elementary and middle school students in Georgia for five years. Ashley then moved to Alabama for a 20-year career teaching high school students at Oak Mountain High School where she built the art program from the ground up.

During her tenure she mentored many first-year teachers, hosted several student teachers, started the art club, was the parenting day coordinator, and prom sponsor, to name a few. After retiring in January 2019, Ashley quickly earned her real estate license with the state of Alabama. She is a realtor who works with clients to help with their buying and selling needs. Ashley is an expert in her field and puts her clients' needs first. Ashley is an affiliate with the Homes for Heroes real estate program and gives back to the heroes that serve her community. She has partnered with Hand in Paw and teaches monthly sips and strokes classes to raise money for the program.
